Chateau rouge, which translate to “Red Castle” was a very popular bal venue through the 19th century.

Every Wednesdays & Friday the venue was hosting “Fête des nations” and the bals were every Tuesdays, Saturday and Sunday.

This poster was used between 1873 and 1883 to promote the venue. Today, the only remain of Chateau rouge is a Metro station you may visit in Paris.
